About These Photos
The vast majority of my collection comes from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. The main areas that I like to "hunt" for my quarry is at Fort Whyte Alive as well as at Assiniboine Park and the Assiniboine Forest. Another place that I like to frequent is Birds Hill Provincial Park, mostly because it's only an hour drive from my place. I have even visited neighbouring province Saskatchewan and stay for a few days at the Grasslands National Park.
Other amazing places to visit are Spruce Woods, Nopiming, William Lake, Turtle Mountain and Duck Mountain, all of which are Provincial Parks in Manitoba, it can be a long drive to get to most of these places but definitely worth it.
Spring and early summer is when I take most of my photos and I start again in the fall when fall migration is going on as well as the changing of the leaves. Every year I tell myself "this winter I'll try and get out more", but this doesn't happen. I have gone out on very rare occasions to do a photo session but not as often as I would like, it's hard to convince yourself to go outside in -34 degrees Celcius (and that's not even with the wind chill).
I have arranged my photos in catagories; just click on the photos below.
